This blog contains what are, according to my calculations, the most critically acclaimed video games ever made. To arrive at this, I compiled various lists published by video game critics and magazines into a spreadsheet, weighted and tabulated the average placement of all of the games listed, and then arranged the games by their overall score. Therefore, the resulting list represents the general critical consensus, not my own opinion. Hopefully, it will serve as a guide to those wanting to experience the best of what the medium has to offer.
