"The tale of Diablo was as engrossing as it was addictive. Not only was there replay value in the fact that you could play three different characters -- the hack-and-slash warrior, the "attack-at-range" and "detect-the-traps" rogue, or the "magic-is-all-powerful" sorcerer -- but the game offered a variety of quests that changed every time you played. And not only did the quests change, but the dungeon levels did as well, each randomly generated unless part of a specific quest. Magic items also provided a unique experience as the game engine created most items randomly. There was never a game of Diablo that played the same way twice." - GameSpy
