"There was something special about Mike Tyson’s Punch Out that drew me in as a kid in the 80’s. Maybe it was the relatively large character sprites that seemed like a cartoon or the outlandish personalities they each portrayed. Perhaps it was the trill of starting out as the up-and-coming boxer by the name of Little Mac and finally figuring out how to conquer a menacing opponent. It’s hard to put your finger a single characteristic that made Punch-Out so memorable, but it remains as a iconic classic that has never quite been matched." - Racketboy
