Atari Jaguar

The Atari Jaguar was released in 1993 in North America and in 1994 in the rest of the world. Despite being one of the earliest fifth-generation consoles and having near PC quality performance, the Atari Jaguar was a commercial failure, only selling around 250,000 copies. Because of this, the Jaguar was the last video game console released by the Atari Corporation. It had a notoriously small gaming library, with its most notable releases being ports of PC games, like DOOM and Wolfenstein 3D, and Tempest 2000, a highly revered remake of the arcade game Tempest. The Atari Jaguar was discontinued in 1996.
